Curves in Plano

Ever wonder how to create your own art, and do it with those flowing, lovely curves?  Successfully?  This poppy project teaches how to do my method for curved piecing.  It allows you to take images of your own and translate them into art you can sew.  I like to refer to it as painting with fabrics because, as you can see with this quilt, you get to do just that!

Get info on the workshops here.

About 10-12 years ago I wrote a book on how to do this and self published.  I think I have a total of 24 books left.  But now I am getting ready to teach this as a workshop for the Plano Guild on January 14.

We will walk through how to take an image and make it into a pattern.  How to create a gradation so you know where to put your fabrics in the image.  How to do this method and if you mess up, how to correct it.  Not that anyone ever messes up...

If you are interested, contact the Guild in Plano, TX.  I'll be doing a program there on the 12th, teaching the free motion class on the 13th and then the curved piecing on the 14th.  I hope to see you there.
