Morning Glories are the first flower I was able to get to grow after I moved to Texas... and then someone told me it was a weed! I was so crushed. They are still a favorite flower of mine as it seems I cannot kill them, even when I want to.
This pattern is very easy to make. Take an assortment of neutrals and in one day you can piece the background for this lap size quilt. Oversize applique is very simple to cut out using the full size line drawing provided in the pattern. Simply begin placing it on the top beginning in the lower left corner and it will climb right up your quilt. Use whatever color you want for your own morning glories as they grow in pink, blue, and purple.
